The American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) and the Association of Moving Image Archivists (AMIA) will stage a joint seminar titled Preserving the Heritage at the Hollywood Film Festival at the Arclight Theater from 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. on Sunday October 17th.
Owen Roizman, ASC has been quoted as saying: "We believe our industry has a moral obligation to ensure that future generations are able to experience motion pictures the way they were intended to be seen by the cinematographers and their collaborators who authored the images."
