Autumn Reeser

Pursuing a professional career in acting demands a tremendous amount of perseverance and heart. For most actors the struggle to get discovered takes years of patience and hard work to become what is often referred to as THE OVERNIGHT SUCCESS.

Join me as I interview an actor who created her "big break" by simply believing in herself and creating a vision of her own success. In a years time she has starred in many notable television productions including MTV, StarTrek, and most recently the new fall show The George Lopez Show.

She also starred in the movie THE BRADY BUNCH GOES TO WASHINGTON as Marsha Brady. And, has also starred in a National Burger King Commercial with Shaquille O'Neil. The greatest obstacle for most actors is overcoming fear of rejection or fear of inadequacy. She is an extraordinary young woman who can transcend her fear and gives to us her passion, personality and purpose.

GLENN ROBERT SMITH

FOUNDER OF DINI FILMS INTERNATIONAL
A MOTION PICTURE COMPANY

The creative challenge for any independent filmmaker begins with the basic understanding that self-worth comes from recognizing and nurturing one's own gifts-regardless of the opinions of others.

Simply put, when persevering your creative vision you must believe in yourself with all your heart and never ever give up.

In the making of his feature film Glenn Robert Smith was inspired by a true story.  The movie Los Patriotas was filmed mostly in a recreated illegal migrant camp.  Masterfully scored by the San Diego Symphony with unforgetable cinematic images.  You will no doubt wonder if this is probably the first truly foreign film ever to be produced in America.

Onc of the highest forms of human entertainment is our relentless fascination with great storytelling.

Tune in to CREATIVE CAFE' to observe the brilliant and comedic minds of Taz Goldstein and Rob Moniot who have that exceptional ability to tell a great story.

In the making of their film, THE DANCING COW, they will share with you how their no budget or very low budget film was able to be produced and marketed.  And how they have won numerous film festival awards and how they became incredible well-known in Hollywood.

The most remarkable aspect of their success is how they gained the support they needed to shoot their film, with relatively no money--but with a lot of heart--they were able to seek help from industry professionals by simply...asking.

KARL KOZAK

BLACK PARTNERS PRODUCTIONS
in association with DELAURENTIS PRODUCTIONS

---Web Site---

One of the most important lessons we can ever learn in life is learning to accept other people as they are--instead of trying to change them.

This lesson is so beautifully interwoven in the feature film--OUT OF THE BLACK--by San Diego filmmaker Karl Kozak.

Based on remarkable real life events, OUT OF THE BLACK, is a complex story about past wrongs and stored bitterness.  In his brilliantly written screen play Kozak reveals how lies and betrayal can actually produce such beautiful outcomes like forgiveness and redemption when anger no longer keeps us a hostage to the person who has hurt us.

Karl Kozak was recently awarded the Independent Film Society's first annual filmmakers achievement award for his next original screenplay entitled--CROSSROADS--which is currently in pre-production.
